Step 1: The Tax Sale Auction

Before we can get to the profit, we need to first get to the deal. We will look over the list of tax sales for the month and find a tax sale we would like to attend. Below is a copy of the list that can be found on our website in the member’s only section.

This is the list for July 28 that I attended online.

As I look over the list, I see a category for type which will indicate whether the sale is a tax lien sale, tax deed sale, or a sheriff sale. I am looking for the tax deed sales and see that Florida has several on the same day. I do some research and find that Charlotte County has good property values and many parcels on the list.

I now need to do additional research to see what if any I want to possibly purchase. There are two different sites I can go to.
